Dunbar-Jupiter Hammon Public Library in Fort Myers, Florida, opened in April 1974 and is named for authors Jupiter Hammon and Paul Laurence Dunbar. The branch features a dedicated collection of African American literature named in honor of longtime library advocate Mary Rice.
